How It Works

Connecting the right support at the right time

Hono Ki Te Ora is your referral pathway for mental health and wellbeing support in Central Otago. You don't need a referral from a doctor. You don't need to know which service you need. Just reach out — we'll help figure out the rest together.

01

Reach out — any way you like

Contact us by phone, email, or online form — or ask your GP, school, or another service to refer you.

02

Meet your Guide

A Guide will get in touch quickly to listen, learn about your situation, and help you understand what support is available. This is a warm, supportive conversation — not an assessment.

03

Triage and next steps

If specialist support is needed, our Intake Clinician will gather more information and work with you to determine the most appropriate pathway.

04

Connected to the right support

We make the introduction and stay in touch while you wait or transition.
